Town Planner Job in Leeds
I have a Town Planner job available with one of the UK's largest care home providers. This care home provider have been established for 30 years and design, build and operate care homes across the UK.
As the successful Town Planner you'll be joining the busy pre-construction team which consists of land, planning and in-house design teams. Currently the planning team consists of 7 planners, all working on care homes across the UK and at various stages of the development. On average this business builds around 25 care homes per year.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the planning applications
- Support the Planning Manager
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure planning applications are prepared properly and in accordance with local authority requirements
- Manage all Section 106 agreements
- Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
- Provide planning reports for each development.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
- Experienced with planning for care home or residential developments
- Ideally 2+ years in Town Planning.
