Our Graduate Scheme
The 2-year programme is designed for the graduate to work closely with leadership, learning from established mentors and developing a network of outstanding colleagues. At the end of the successful completion of our two-year scheme, successful graduates will have strong employment prospects as we hope to be able to offer you the chance to secure a full-time role with our brightest minds, in a department that will keep developing your career.
Reporting to the EU General Manager, you will get the opportunity to contribute to key projects, learn best practices and processes through which you will acquire business-critical competencies. This role focuses on delivering key insights into business activities, communicating with internal and external stakeholders and monitoring performances and processes.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Internal
- Support multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of supply of products to the EU markets
- Support the General Manager in preparing reports, budgets, and long-range planning
- Keep track of in-market sales and monitor tender opportunities
- Monitor key customers performances and run ad-hoc analysis
- Monitor and track inventory levels
- Draft preliminary sales and stock monthly forecasts
- Ensure internal processes and SOPs are followed and executed in a timely manner
External
- Monitor competition, with a focus on shortages, pricing & reimbursement
- Run performance reports using IQVIA and other supportive material
- Interface with local partners and end customers on day-to-day operations
- Actively support the management of customer queries
About you:
The ideal candidate is a Graduate or a Junior professional, recently qualified with a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g., sciences, quantitative discipline, or business).
In addition, the candidate will have:
- First class numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent standard of written and verbal communication in business English and Italian; able to relate to stakeholders at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds
- Strong aptitude for technology and highly proficient in the use of MS Office particularly intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint. Other software experience, SOP is a plus
- Ability to maintain resilience, learn quickly and navigate ambiguity
- Flexibility to align to the working requirements of a fast-paced Graduate scheme
- Commercial acumen that can be applied with insight to inform or deliver results
- Have a "can do" attitude, tenacious, flexible, open to learn and to be involved across disciplines
- Some familiarity with the Pharmaceutical Industry and/or specifically with logistics is advantageous
