Location: Flexible working available, where you will be based out of our Winchester, Picketts Lane or Union Street office with home working available

Salary: up to £35k FTE + Car + 26 days holiday plus bank holiday + Benefits

Kier Highways are currently recruiting for a Social Value Co-ordinator to help drive all elements of Social Value across the Highways business. The successful candidate will work as part of the social value team and support Highways contract teams to achieve their commitments for social value at a regional level as well as helping to produce industry leading cross business initiatives. The role will involve Regional and National travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

The Social Value Coordinator will support the contracts in the region to achieve their social value commitments. Work with external community-based organisation to build partnerships to help deliver our commitments at a regional level. Assist in the delivery of the Equality Diversity & Inclusion strategy and inclusion action plan. Design and co-ordinate cross highways social value initiatives. Support the delivery of the Highways Social Value Performance Excellence plan and the One Planet action Plan Social Sustainability Principles. Help with the development or responses for bids and work winning opportunities

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience of delivering social value projects and driving social value
  • Able to collaborate with and build relationships with a range of stakeholders both internal and externally
  • Experience of project management
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure whilst remaining calm and focused
  • Passion for delivering social value in the communities where we work
