We are now recruiting for a Stakeholder Liaison Officer to join our Highways team in Doxey-Stafford to be the initial point of contact for coordination of all stakeholder inquiries, complaints and claim procedures and processes. This role will start in Stafford, but once this project finishes, will then be required in the Cumbria region. An additional payment will be paid if applicable
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Customer Manager, the purpose of Stakeholder Liaison Officer is to manage key stakeholder relationships across the project in accordance with the stakeholder strategy. You will be the lead for M6 J13 - 15 stakeholder issues and enquiries, as well as drive customer-centric thinking and behaviours across the project to ensure all teams put the customers and stakeholders at the heart of every decision.
What do we need from you?
- Experience of dealing with members of the public and can demonstrate being customer focussed
- Confident, outgoing and friendly with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and speaking skills
- Ability to work under pressure and be confident enough to make quick decisions whilst paying attention to detail
- Process driven and able to identify gaps in a process
- Effective engagement with internal stakeholders, knowing when to escalate an issue
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexibility to cover occasional evening or weekend event
