Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a Financial Services provider based in Wolverhampton, in assisting them in recruiting a Finance Transformation Manager to their growing team.
The key purpose of this role is to manage the delivery of finance transformation, projects and associated initiatives to the role.
This client is looking for an accountant from a Financial Services background, to undertake the transformation of business change within the accounting and finance environment.
This role will be working closely with others in the team to perform analysis to deliver financial changes within the business.
The role will require the job holder to work independently across the finance department on finance projects and change initiatives, working hand in hand with Finance and IT colleagues to drive and deliver changes into everyday business practice.
Some ad-hoc travel may be required within the role to national and international sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structure to finance projects to meet overall project requirements
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of robust team operating frameworks, documents and tools
- Report on the progress of actions and the project to the Finance project team
- Facilitate all aspects of testing, training, documentation and providing input into the project
- Identify and realise opportunities for the department and business that emerge from changing requirements of the business
- Support and propose projects, making recommendations to the Group Head of Financial Projects and Change
- Lead and facilitate system and process improvements, including the modelling of functions and data
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group and third parties
- Assist in the collaboration in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
- Provide source material for preparation and maintenance of user manuals and other related documentation
- Responsible for preparing and performing reconciliations and analysing data
- Deliver effective business partnering with teams across the business
- Managerial responsibility for the ongoing maintenance, development, user acceptance testing and integration of finance systems
- Own the system interfaces of internal systems
Financial Accountant Package:
- £45,000 to £50,000
