Role and Responsibilities:

  • Represent the client in the delivery of large Pharmaceutical Projects across the UK
  • Provide consultation on cost saving solutions for clients, and provide oversight of General Contractors and supply chain in the construction of the facility from a Cost perspective
  • Provide a 1st class service to Blue-Chip clients, upholding the company reputation
  • Generate, maintain and develop new relationships with key project stakeholders
  • Prepare standard documentation - reports, valuations, letters, financial reports
  • Prepare tender documents as required by procurement choice
  • Analyse tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement
  • Prepare valuations and cost reports; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
  • Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
  • Prepare and agree final accounts

Desired Experience and Education:

  • BSc in a construction related discipline
  • Chartered desirable but not essential
  • Pre- and post-contract experience
  • Experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management on Pharmaceutical projects
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong client facing experience
