An exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join Kier Construction working for our Strategic Projects team.

We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on prestigious projects such as HS2 and Hinkley Point C.

We are now recruiting for a Commercial Manager to work on a range of commercial projects nationally.

Key Responsibilities

As the Commercial Manager, you will be leading project teams in all commercial matters. You'll take responsibility for procurement, commercial management and final accounts on commercial projects. You will also assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Groups policies for risk management, prepare and present monthly cost reports, support the Project team with commercial and contractual expertise, and value works executed by Sub-Contractors

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience on large commercial developments
  • HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Strong commercial acumen
