Financial Analyst (Cash) - Maternity Cover

This role is part of the UK and Group Finance team which is responsible for the overseeing of Company finances, monthly reporting and analysis of business performance, business partnering and supporting the business's strategic objectives.

The role comprises of the following key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the information required to prepare the STCF. This includes interaction with the Business Units, Tax, Treasury and Transaction support team.
  • Preparation of the STCF and agreement of key assumptions with line manager.
  • Making recommendations for ways to improve and optimise cash flow management.
  • Preparation and ownership of the agenda, key actions tracking and presentation slides for the Weekly Cash Call
  • Preparation of the key cash actions for the weekly Group BPR meeting.
  • Preparing and filing the Prompt Payment Code
  • Any other ad hoc requirements

Relevant Experience:

  • Either Qualified accountant or demonstrating tangible progress towards being so (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong communication skills. An ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to build and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Proven experience of working in a deadline driven environment with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Experience of developing and improving processes.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills - particularly Excel and PowerPoint an advantage.
  • Experience using COINs would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working within the finance function of a large organisation is beneficial.
