Salary: up to £28k (depending on experience)
We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, amongst others we are working on the IMT Contract, and we're looking for a Field Technician to join our Telecoms team in Manchester.
We are looking to recruit a Field Technician who will be reporting to the Resource & Scheduling Manager.
What you'll be doing:
As a Field Technician, you will provide planned & reactive repair and maintenance services to all elements of the telecommunication cell site infrastructure on a full-time basis.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out reactive/preventative maintenance checks and works
- General fabric maintenance
- Planned - Undertaking supplementary repairs on cell site installations
- Reactive - Undertaking repair works on an ad-hoc basis covering fabric disciplines
- Clearance - Undertaking site clearance works including, but not limited to, vegetation and rubbish/debris.
- Ensure that all tasks are carried out safety and in line with safe operating procedures
- Fulfil requirements of certain building fabric services by assisting in planned and reactive maintenance as provided to the agreed standard
We are seeking candidates who have:
- Previous Site experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Package
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- UK Driving Licence.
