We have an exciting opportunity for a Fibre Splicer to join our Telecoms team in Falkirk, Scotland to carry out highly skilled splicing and testing works on CBT's, Splitters and Agg. Nodes. Both overhead and Underground experience is essential and experience of the Openreach network is desirable. The successful candidate will be required to work as a solo splicer or as part of a 2 person team.
The works will predominantly be on our Falcon contract, which is a major contract involving a full network build from Exchange Head End to the feeding equipment outside the customers property. We work in partnership with Openreach to build the network that allows the most efficient delivery of services to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
As Fibre Splicer you will be responsible for carrying out all installation and testing tasks on the job packs, performing out of hour's emergency restoration works (evenings and weekends) and ensure all works are carried out with full regard for health and safety.

To be successful in the role you will hold a full driving licence have previous splicing experience along with strong knowledge of Health & Safety NRSWA requirements.
