The Opportunity:

Our manufacturing and modular solutions are transforming traditional construction methodologies into a modern process of component-based assembly, providing product sets including precast concrete building components, and modular bridges for the major highways and rail projects.

This is the most automated concrete products facility in Europe making our construction process faster safer and more efficient, improving quality and reducing waste, and contributing to a sustainable manufacturing-led future for construction.

What will the role look like?

  • To take full responsibility of multi discipline teams ensuring tasks are planned and completed safely while delivering constituent material and final finished product conforming to stringent Quality measures.
  • All expectations should be delivered whilst steadfastly adhering to the EIP Guiding Principles of Safety; Quality; Cost; Delivery; People
  • Challenge cycle times to optimise efficiency.
  • Responsible for providing leadership and management to the operational team.
  • Work closely with peers/Leadership and supporting functions including Design, QA; Maintenance to ensure all works are executed on time and on.
  • Ensuring labour budgeting is in line with estimated costs through engagement to set the correct standard, whilst monitoring data, process and continuous improvement.
  • Challenge cycle times to optimise efficiency.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Proactive approach to health and Safety and determination to achieve the required health and safety standards.
  • Experience in a similar production or operational environment.
  • Proven team player, capable of managing a busy production team and be self-motivated.
  • Provide strong leadership and management to a diverse team of individuals.
  • Influencing skills
  • Good communication/stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Must be able to motivate others and promote a can-do attitude towards problem solving and achievement of production targets.
  • IT literate.
  • Appreciation of Process Management and Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
  • Ability to work with initiative when outside influences affect planned operations.
