Location: Heathcote School, Waltham Forest

Business Area: Kier Facilities Management - Waltham Forest Schools

Contract & hours: Permanent, Monday to Friday, Full time 40 hours, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Kier Places are recruiting now for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team on the Waltham Forest Schools contract, based at Heathcote School, Chingford, where you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and administering the day-to-day business & finance activities of the estate of 5 schools (Heathcote, Chase Lane, Riverley, Downsell, and Larkswood School) to ensure smooth running of the Facilities Management Operation and closely supporting the Facilities & Contract Manager.


Key Responsibilities

Collaboration is key to being a Facilities Coordinator with Kier FM - you can expect your day to include liaising with the client, helpdesk, sub-contractors, and operational staff to ensure that reactive and planned maintenance activities are delivered; reviewing maintenance task progress in both client and Kier helpdesks; maintaining work, costs, schedule, compliance & other output trackers; and working with financial systems and information, including Concept CAFM, PowerBI, Excel spreadsheets, raising and processing Applications for Payment, Purchase Orders & monthly invoices, receipting Goods, maintaining timesheets, and Purchase Card administration.

In this role there is a unique opportunity to also be involved in carrying out site visits with management team for site audits, surveys, compliance assurance, and other health & safety FM related duties.


What do we need from you?

To really make the most of this role, you'll have experience in a Coordination, Scheduling or Planner roles, in a fast-moving facilities management, customer focused environment; and bring with you the ability to deal with budgets; a great understanding in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, coupled with knowledge of CAFM (e.g. Concept Evolution) & Business Finance (e.g. Oracle) systems. IOSH Managing Safety would be ideal, but this is not essential.
