Job Title: Contracts Administrator

Location: The role will be based either in the Solihull or Cambridge office with some home-working available.


Business area: Kier Construction - Eastern and Midlands

Contract: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week.

We are now recruiting for a Contracts Administrator to join our subcontract procurement team working across the Eastern and Midlands region in the drafting and administration of subcontract documents.



Key Responsibilities

As a Contracts Administrator within our Eastern and Midlands region, you will be responsible for collating information received from the site teams to draft the contract documents for subcontractors. You will be tasked with infilling NEC and JCT standard forms of contract, checking information, formatting documents, issuing orders to subcontractors and ensuring all documents are fully executed. You will liaise directly with the site teams, in particular the quantity surveyors.



What do we need from you?

Being proficient in using Microsoft software will play a key part in your success in this role, as well as having the ability to produce well-presented, accurate and structured documentation. The role will also require good communication skills and critical thinking.

Experience of contracts and/or the construction industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
