The Opportunity:
Our manufacturing and modular solutions are transforming traditional construction methodologies into a modern process of component-based assembly, providing product sets including precast concrete building components, and modular bridges for the major highways and rail projects.
This is the most automated concrete products facility in Europe making our construction process faster safer and more efficient, improving quality and reducing waste, and contributing to a sustainable manufacturing-led future for construction.
What will the role look like?
Tender Phase
- Work with tender, technical and bid teams to develop an initial bid programme containing all components and specific design/manufacture lead-ins based on tender information, assist in the development of an initial IRS.
Pre-Construction (PCSA) Phase
- Conversion of tender programmes and the development of more detailed manufacturing programmes throughout the PCSA period, updating and incorporating design and technical information, linking the component design and manufacture programme to the main project consultant design and project construction programmes ensuring that adequate lead-in periods (encompassing stock build-up requirements) are included and advised across the project team.
Construction Phase
- Liaise with the coordination teams led by Explore contracts managers.
- Liaise with the project technical and planning function on a weekly basis to develop a progress position, reporting back design anomalies that will affect EIP design, production, and site installations.
- Development of any major changes or revisions to the Programme to Build, undertake cause and effect analysis and reports, ensuring programme changes are fully signed off and agreed prior to working to them (monthly).
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Construction / Civils planning background
- Degree level or professionally qualified.
- Conversant with Asta, PowerProject or P6.
- Full UK driving licence
