Technical Manager Job in Warwickshire

My client has a Technical Manager Job available in their regional office in Warwickshire. They are one of the UK's largest privately owned house builders and have been established for over 60 years, building new homes in the North West, Midlands and the South of England

As the successful Technical Manager you'll report into the Technical Director for the region which spans from North Oxfordshire to South Derbyshire and from Warwickshire across to Northampton. You will be tasked with project managing the development from acquisition through to finial adoption.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage external consultants for infrastructure work
  • Liaise with utilities companies
  • Manage ground investigations and their reports
  • Arrange street lighting design
  • Submit and gain approval for Building Regs
  • Arrange pre-start meetings with contractors and agree on a programme of work
  • Arranging contractors for remedial work on highways/sewers and the ongoing maintenance
  • Monitoring budget and cost throughout the process.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Technical Manager
  • Volume housebuilding background
  • Ideally from an engineering background
  • Relevant degree, ideally engineering.
