Job Title: Electrical Package Engineer

Location: Twickenham

Business Unit: Utilities

Hours: Full time 45 hours a week

We are now recruiting for a Electrical Package Engineer to join our Utilities team in Twickenham to accurately perform checks for electrical design calculations.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing electrical engineering expertise for industrial projects with particular emphasis on the water industry.
  • Establishing client requirements and delivering engineering design solutions.
  • Engaging with the Supply Chain to provide accurate and innovative proposals and supporting the contractor procurement process.
  • Applying technical judgment and resourcefulness to investigations, feasibility studies, concept and scheme designs, detailed design and construction support phase of projects.
  • Providing support to contractors within the discipline as well as ensuring company standards in health & safety, environmental and quality are being met by the supply chain.
We are seeking candidates who:

  • A minimum HND qualified in electrical engineering
  • Experience in electrical engineering design on capital projects.
  • A good knowledge of motor control centres including variable speed 690V and 420V
  • An understanding of switchgear design including discrimination calculations and protection devices
  • A knowledge of G5/5 (or G5/4)
  • A knowledge of electrical distribution power engineering and switchgear from 11kV and below.
