Protocol are working closely with a Further Education college based in Rotherham in their search for a Mechanical Engineer to work in the practical workshops within the college and supporting tutors during classes, ensuring equipment is well maintained and available when required.
This is a full time position starting in August 2022 and will run on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will come from a Mechanical Engineering background and have experience working practically within the industry. Making them confident and competent with tools and machinery in a practical workshop setting. Within this position you will be supporting tutors during classes, ensuring equipment is well maintained and available when required, whilst also ensuring stock control and supporting with purchasing/invoicing.
Have you got what it takes?
* A practical background in Mechanical Engineering
* Industrial Mechanical experience
* A positive, upbeat attitude towards work to support and inspire students
* No teaching experience needed!
