Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, you'll be provided with real, practical experience and mentoring by industry experts. We guarantee you the opportunity to build skills, gain knowledge and experience through 'in-role' training alongside a tailored development programme.
On the programme you will spend time in our quarries, concrete and asphalt plants, getting your hands dirty and working with our fantastic operations teams. You'll be an ideal fit for this position if you enjoy building relationships, have a great sense of humour and are willing to get stuck in!
Do you have…?
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including Maths, English and Science.
- A full UK Driving Licence - during your apprenticeship with us, we want you to experience and see everything we have to offer so you will need to be flexible to travel to other sites.
- A genuine interest in the construction materials industry, specifically an interest in driving heavy mobile plant machinery - we'd love to hear about why you chose us and what interests you about this role!
You'll be supported throughout your career with us, with time out of work to attend virtual learning events and college. Initially you'll be undertaking a Static and Mobile Plant operations Apprenticeship with MPQC; whereby you will achieve a Level 2 Plant Operations NVQ diploma qualification.
