The role of Project Support Administrator is within the Business Analysis function. As a member of this team your role will be diverse, requiring knowledge of/capacity to learn excel, COINs, process mapping, creation of training material, reporting project activity and delivery of training and support.
The implementation of projects is challenging with a need to be flexible to meet the project objectives and business needs; this can require a change in direction and sometimes rework requiring the candidate to be both adaptive and pragmatic in their approach.

The role will require the ability to work independently with the support and direction of the Business Analysts and Business Analyst Manager.

Main Responsibilities
Outline of core responsibilities of the position:
- Providing administrative support to the business analysis function through the scheduling and reporting of Demand and Change initiatives.
- Providing administrative support to the business analysis function through the scheduling and reporting of attendance at training and testing delivered through the IT Business Analysis function, ensuring attendance and session feedback sheets are collated and shared with the HR L&D function.
- Working with the project team to review, analyse and evaluate business artefacts, systems and processes.
- Working with the support of the Business Analyst team to construct process maps and diagrams; evaluating system capabilities; facilitating functional requirements/specifications.
- Working with the support of the Business Analyst team in the completion of unit testing.
- Contribution to the project objective, through the creation and validation of training material
- Contributing to prioritisation discussions with an understanding of impact of change to the schedule
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Day-to-day activities of the position:
* Creation and maintenance of project, demand and change artefacts
* Communication and reporting of progress and issues
* Management of the change and demand schedule
* Contributing to the team objectives
The role of the Project Support Administrator works closely with the Business Analysis function and wider IT team.
Key Role Deliverables:
Co-ordination of demand and change schedule.
Attending project review meetings, reporting on task progress, issues and risks.
Assisting the Business Analysis function with project tasks and documentation, including chasing SMEs to ensure that tasks are completed to keep projects on time and within milestone delivery dates agreed.
Ideal Candidate
- 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C), including English and maths
- Possesses a broad understanding of IT and business skills
- A basic understanding of business processes improvement, benefit and risk management and software testing.
- Takes a systematic and analytical approach to task management, problem solving and pays close attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and prioritise
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Efficient and organised with good attention to detail
