Contract & hours: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £40K - £50K + package

We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, working on projects such as Strategic and Local Highways.

We are now recruiting for a Technology Project Manager to join our Highways team in Birmingham to support of the Regional Delivery Manager to provide effective profiling and monitoring of resource and budget forecasts throughout the life of Technology Schemes during the development, design and delivery

Key Responsibilities

Manage activities including planning, delivery, testing and commissioning of the highway's technology equipment in line with agreed design. Have involvement in the procurement strategy of the equipment. Identify/resolve issues and manage the handover of highways technology equipment into maintenance, including PCF products as/when required.

What do we need from you?

  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages is essential.
  • Experienced in delivering projects in accordance withCDM requirements, including;
    • Production and maintaining of project plans.
    • Produce programmes for individual schemes/works packages.
    • Review and approve supply chain RAMS
    • Prepare and submit site construction job packs.
    • Production of cost estimates and change control/project variations
  • Knowledge of the highways technology asset with experience in technical areas including: Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), CAV, SCADA, CCTV, MIDAS, VMS & Signals, Highways Infrastructure - roadside equipment, power supplies and distribution, communications cable networks, NRTS, RCC in-station equipment would be an advantage
