We are now recruiting for a Foreman to join our Highways team in Wymondham to effectively manage and oversee the day-to-day operational activity working within client specification and provide the best service possible.
Responsibilities
As Foreman, It will be key to manage safety on site, maintain daily records of site activities and co-ordinate with your Manager and colleagues on handling work methods which are safe, technically sound, economically viable, feasible and consistent. You will need to ensure all works are in accordance with all relevant safe systems of work / method statements and risk assessments. Work locations must be regularly inspected and audited, making sure any failings identified are reported to management. Monitor the performance of site operatives and check / authorise daily work records for accuracy and correct completion. Ensure the correct materials are used on each site and that reconciliations are carried out.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Have general education with satisfactory written and numerical skills
- Are commercially aware
- Hold a full driving licence
- Demonstrate working knowledge in a similar role and environment
- Can show general knowledge and experience in surface treatments
