My client requires a Supply Chain Officer to start work ASAP on a permanent basis, based in their Gateshead office.

To support supply chain activities across the business providing value added service through the provision of process development and controls to underpin the delivery of the companies Procurement & Supply Chain Management Strategy.

The right candidate will be Qualified to HNC, Level 4 CIPS or have equivalent experience.
An interest in studying towards full MCIPS membership is advantageous.

The role will require previous understanding of supply chain management processes within a like related environment.

The role will require experience at project level within supply chain including developing innovative supply chain solutions, supply chain principles, procedures methods, performance measurement and improvement tools & techniques, financial analysis.

34k salary with a car/allowance of £450 a month.

Monday-Friday.
