Job Title: Street Lighting Operative

Location: Rougham, Suffolk

We are currently looking for a Street Lighting Operative to join our Highways team in Rougham, to deliver the streetlighting service, routine, and reactive works.

Responsibilities

As Street Lighting Operative, you will ensure that Suffolk Highways maintain the street lighting infrastructure and contribute to providing a safe highway network condition for public use. There will be a requirement to partake in the out of hours emergency standby rota. Working to BS7671 18th Edition, identifying and recording change control on site and reporting to the Manager

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have an NVQ level 2 in Highway Electrical Systems
  • Hold a current driving licence to drive up to 7.5 tonne vehicles
  • Are trained in IPAF (MEWP) / SWQR (New Roads and Street Works) / G39 & Safe Isolation
