Groundworks labourer required to work on a local authority contract based in Newcastle starting ASAP to assist on a highways scheme
Will be working as a driver / groundworks labourer and working alongside groundworkers on a highways contract - tarmac, concrete, kerbs, paving (driving dumper / roller if you have valid ticket)
Role will be to drive pick up and assist groundworkers.
- Rate is £14 phr umbrella, CIS is not an option for this contract
- Rate increases after 12 weeks to £15
- Ongoing work - 6 / 12 months with potential of permanent opportunity
- Applicants will ideally be able to drive
- 39 hours per week
- Must have previous experience with the groundworks tasks above
- Candidate will ideally have forward tipping dumper or ride on roller
- CV will be required for this role
Ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience working as a groundworks labourer or Groundworker
- Manual handling
- Abrasive wheels
- Full driving licence
