Location: Brixworth (Travel across other Northamptonshire sites too)

We are currently looking for a Customer Experience Officer to join our Highways team in Brixworth to cover West Northamptonshire Council, you will be responsive to residents, visitors and all road users ensuring they are kept informed of our works.

Responsibilities

As Customer Experience Officer you will ensure all enquires are responded to accurately and in a timely manner. Support with the effectively delivery of the customer and communications strategies & plans. Be a part of regular engagement with client and stakeholders. Monitor performance to ensure KPI's are achieved, work collaboratively with the operational teams. Be a leading advocate in the effort to maximise customer satisfaction and minimise customer complaints. Analyse and provide reports in relation to customer service/enquiries and complaints to share with teams so that lessons are learnt and improvements are made. Support social media customer interaction, as well as at events and consultations. Liaise with social value partners and assist teams with arranging social value activities e.g. volunteering days. Help the Office & Facilities manager with the day to day running of the offices.

We are seeking candidates who:
  • Can build and maintain effective relationships with key people both internally and externally
  • Have a full driving licence
  • Are comfortable with Microsoft Office
  • Show empathy towards all customer groups and can utilise conflict management skills
  • Demonstrate experience of being customer focussed
