Customer Care Technician Job in Tamworth

I have a Customer Care Technician job for a national housebuilder based in their Midlands region and working on sites in Derby and Nottingham. Our client is looking for an experienced Customer Care Technician who has a multi-trade background. The role is looking to pay £40,000 - £43,000 + 2% bonus + Company Van.

Our client was established 50 years ago, with 10 offices across the Midlands, East Anglia, South West And North West. They are a privately family-owned business that build over 4000 homes per year across 9 regions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Visit clients as required
  • Ensure the company van is stocked with all necessary equipment
  • Ensure that any additional materials are ordered through approved suppliers
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with customers
  • Schedule any additional work that has arisen into your calendar
  • Carry out work in a clean, safe, and professional manner
  • Required to visit the office once a week to meet with Coordinators and Manager
  • Discuss any customer complaints with the Coordinator and arrange any appointments accordingly
  • Keep tools maintained correctly and PAT testing is carried out as necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in the housebuilding industry
  • Multi-trade background, especially in carpentry or tiling
  • Knowledge of NHBC standards ad LABC regulations
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills.
