Social Value Advisor

We are looking for a Social Value Advisor with a passion for creating great places, and positive change. The ideal candidate will be able to embed social value, and educate the wider teams in this way of working.
What will the role look like?
- Managing delivery of Social Value Strategies across Shepperton projects, ensuring we meet all social value objectives
- Report to line manager on the delivery of outputs you are responsible for, raising to manager any risks, issues in delivery
- Developing and implementing delivery plans behind strategies
- Contribute to team meetings offering innovative solutions and sharing best practice
- Managing stakeholders, using effective communications and build relationships with delivery partners, site teams and supply chain
- Attend client meetings and project review meetings to report outputs, issues, and risks around sustainability targets
- Collaborative working with procurement to ensure the targets are communicated effectively through the supply chain, using a 'legacy agreement'
- Monitoring and evaluation of all social value delivery ensuring we are tracking all outcomes
- Keep up to date with current social value trends
- Have awareness of social value measurement tools such as the national TOMS
Experience Required:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Team player and relationship manager across multiple stakeholders with a strong work ethic
- A good knowledge of quality, diversity and inclusion and ability to promote EDI as part of stakeholder engagement.
- Able to Project manage the delivery of social sustainability KPI's working with partners to ensure a long term, outcome focussed approach
- The ability to identify key stakeholders and partners to aid KPI delivery.
- Confidence to chair and present at social value steering group meeting
- Able to develop a coordinated approach with procurement to ensure the targets are communicated effectively through the supply chain, using a 'legacy or sustainability agreement'
- A good understanding of social value within private, public and 3rd sector within the London City Region, linked to education, employment and community regeneration.
- Knowledge of the construction/infrastructure sectors within London City Region
- Ability to project manage KPI delivery across multiple project teams.
