Interior Designer Job in Lower Manhattan, New York

Our client is hiring for an Interior Designer job for their New York City office, focused on high-end residential projects. Offering a salary of up to $110,000 plus an attractive vacation allowance!

The firm has a timeless design aesthetic, influenced by experiences, art, and design. The firm currently operates from two offices, in New York and one in London, and has completely projects globally. With a strong pipeline of work, our client is now looking for an experienced interior designer with a strong background in FF&E who shares a passion for unique and exquisite interiors.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and development of concept proposals, mood boards, and presentations
  • Establish FF&E concepts alongside the wider team
  • FF&E documentation and installation plans
  • Lead the procurement process, liaising with global suppliers
  • Able to produce technical drawings and detailing for bespoke items and furniture.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified in interior design, ideally from a CIDA accredited course
  • 5+ years of experience working on high-end residential projects
  • Procurement experience
  • Strong FF&E experience, including bespoke items
  • Good knowledge of suppliers, including off-the-shelf items, bespoke pieces, and antiques.
