Housing Repairs Planner - Permanent Role

Working with a large housing group, exciting opportunity to join a growing division!

Planning / Scheduling or Admin experience required

Duties:

  • Promoting right first time approach and excellent customer services
  • Responsible for forward planning of jobs to trades; maximising available working time and reducing failure
  • Excellent resource management including maximising the use of multi skilling and geographical locations, including batching of jobs
  • Knowledge of trade capability and range of skills
  • Reduce un-allocated jobs
  • Testing for tenant responsibility when the job is first raised
  • Proactive management of future needs as priorities change
  • Challenging follow on's to increase first time fix and ensuring work is managed correctly to completion
  • Ensuring Castleton Maintain Optimiser is used appropriately
  • Work collaboratively with the customer service advisor and supervisor to ensure one team approach
  • Lead on proactive customer contact to reduce avoidable contact and service failure
  • Ensure all updates and progress associated with the live job are updated on relevant system
  • Management of engineer's diary by updating appointment slots according to resources available
  • Monitor trades communication with customers and PDA updates to ensure that the customer is updated at the end of the job regarding the job completed and any next steps before leaving the customers' home
  • Allocating jobs in line with contractual requirements
  • Responsible for making recommendation to the service manager regarding improvements to productivity and enhancements to scheduling tool
  • Rescheduling of work to cover for unplanned events; ensuring tenants are proactively kept informed of any changes to planned appointments
  • Monitor and resolve any service issues in conjunction with the field supervisor and escalate any unresolved issues to service manager as appropriate

Responsible for planning and scheduling jobs for a team of trade people to deliver excellent customer service, maximise efficiency and productivity of the team with a defined area.
