Explosives Supervisor - Breedon, Cwt y Bugail Quarry
We're delighted to advertise a new position for an Explosives Supervisor at our Cwt y Bugail Quarry working for our world renowned Welsh Slate business. Located in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, Cwt y Bugail is exceptionally unique and owing to its remote location the role does come with some challenges, but the views more than make up for it!
At Welsh Slate, we can offer a truly different quarrying role and our teams take immense pride in their work and the production of our slate products. We are very ambitious and you'll be instrumental in supporting our Operations Manager in growing the Cwt y Bugail site. As a whole we endeavor to grow the slate product portfolio from our quarries and continue to expand our footprint and we'd like to take you on that journey with us.
As an Explosives Supervisor your role will be to maintain the safe and efficient supply of blasted stone to the quarry production team, in line with our quarry development plan. You will also support our blasting teams at Ffestiniog and Penrhyn Quarries.
