We are now recruiting for an Estimator to join our Highways team in Ipswich to assist with the control of costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety on a range of contracts.
Responsibilities
As Estimator you will be responsible for providing first class estimating services maximising the ability of Kier Services, to secure new business opportunities in line with the business plan objectives You will manage all aspects of quoted works process to maximise revenue and operating profit, estimating the costs of projects to meet or exceed the client's requirements. Determine contractual, financial, technical and operational risks, find opportunities to minimise risk and maximise gross profit.
We are seeking candidates who:
- Have a role related degree or qualification
- Are commercially aware
- Hold advanced estimating knowledge
- Demonstrate working knowledge in a similar role and environment
