Are you an experienced Early Years specialist looking to step into an Early Years Initial Teacher Training Tutor (EYITT) role?
Protocol are proud to be working with a specialist training provider based in Staffordshire and the North West who are looking for an EYITT Tutor to join their growing team.
You will be delivering high-quality curriculum mastery to meet the Teacher Standards (Early Years) requirements to a case load of learners.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The role is hybrid and involves three days remote working and two days of travel, travel can also be expensed.
Salary is up tp £32k DOE.
Role responsibilities
Complete termly skills reviews with trainees and identify skills and knowledge gaps against the EYITT curriculum themes
Complete visits in accordance with the programme requirements completing observations in workplace and placement settings, liaising with mentors and lead trainers
Develop and take responsibility for the delivery of individual training plans tailored to trainees needs
Monitor trainees progress and provide support in completion of evidence and uploading on to Mosaic. Ensuring other evidence is completed in a timely manner, setting targets to ensure timely completion
The person & qualifications
A level 6 qualification
Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Teacher Standards
An assessors qualification (desirable but not essential)
Passionate and excited about learning
