We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services, amongst other we are working on an IMT Contract, and we are looking for a Team Leader to join our Teams in Guildford.
We are now recruiting for a Team Leaders to join our Utilities team to work with emerging technologies to maintain 24,000 cell site installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the detailed test, inspection, and condition surveys of mobile phone mast installations.
- Carry out inspections of towers, poles, and fall arrest systems as well as testing anchor points, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Producing reports and undertaking minor remedial tasks, along with ensuring that all work is undertaken in a safe and proper manner.
- Ensuring that scheduled visits are carried out in accordance with the agreed program and completed to the expected standard.
- Understanding and awareness of site safety, health & environmental issues.
- Liaising with a number of stakeholders including but not limited to site providers, client staff, and helpdesk administration.
- Required to attend internal and external review meetings, ensure PUWER, vehicle, calibration, and training records are maintained, and assist in the mentoring and development of site operatives.
- Previous site experience but not essential
- Comfortable working with height
- Basi Knowledge of IT system
- Full Driving Licence
- Willing to travel
- Company vehicle & fuel card
- Full training will be provided such as Advanced Climber, Tower Rescue, RF Awareness & Safety, First Aid at height, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Working at Height Medical, NRWSW Unit 2, Rope Access, and MEWP (Mobile elevating work platforms).
