Breedon are currently seeking an Administrator to work within a small team and assist the General Manager, Contracts Manager and Commercial Team with administrative duties within Breedon Bow Highways.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Commercial & Contracts team
  • Assist the General Manager with any admin duties as and when required
  • Collating of documents
  • Assisting in Managing the CSCS and CPCS card renewals
  • Assisting the General Manager with Health, Safety, Quality, Training & Compliance
  • Converse with sub-contractor and supplier via telephone and email
  • Postal requirements, stationery & PPE orders
  • Payroll preparation and submission (Weekly) and supervisor overtime (Monthly)
  • Assistant the team when required (filing, fielding telephone calls, appointment scheduling, Assure, health & safety files. etc.)
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Manage the Assure system, uploading inspection, toolbox talks and near misses
  • Manage the General Managers diary and movements
  • Take minutes at meetings when required, updating and sending to relevant participants
  • Follow all H&S and Environmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an admin role
  • Able to respect confidentiality
  • Experience in administrative functions and telephone communications
  • Experience in the use of computer systems. (Word, Excel as a minimum) and company systems - Assure and Findocs (training can be given)
  • Have an understanding of a fast-paced office & contracting business
  • Competent level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ideally an understanding of Business Compliance
  • An understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and procedures that have a direct impact within the office
  • Demonstrate a competent level with office-based equipment
  • Have the ability to accurately file and retrieve records.
  • Good oral, IT and written communication skills.
  • Able to plan and prioritise own workload.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers in a friendly and non-confrontational manner.
