Title: Depot Administrator

Location: Barnstaple

Business area: Utilities - South West Water

Kier and its partnership with South West Water are passionate about water, we help provide high quality drinking and wastewater service throughout Cornwall, Devon and small parts of Dorset and Somerset.

We work as part of a Framework delivering civil schemes across the regions in the South West, whether it be responding to fix a water leak or replacing a main on planned works, we will be there ensuring we complete the works in a safe and timely way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of the workforce with the issue of Works Orders via PDA and manual means
  • Feedback the details of the work carried out by the workforce and upload onto the KUDOS internal works system
  • To co-ordinate with the Planning Department, Workforce and Supervisors to assess problems and queries.
  • Communicate in a professional manner with the Client and provide a high level of service to the client's Customers
  • Maintain depot quality records
    Carry out administration tasks to support the Delivery Manager and the running of the depot
  • Continual review and development of processes

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills
  • Organisational ability and time management
  • Ability to understand numerical and statistical information
    Computer literate
  • Methodical
