Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for two Site Supervisors to join the Area 3 Maintenance and Response team in Chieveley Depot to assist the Area Managers to carry out the role of Principal Contractor under CDM and manage the works.
Key Responsibilities
As Site Supervisor you will ensure that appropriate site inductions are carried out and recorded and carry out start of shift and end of shift site briefings. Be required to supervise the workforce, distribute tasks for that shift and respond to any incidents on the network as bronze command. Ensure that our maintenance deliverables are met, and the evidence is recorded. Assist with the organisation and delivery of winter maintenance treatments. Liaise with HR and payroll to assist operatives with any issues they have as well as identifying any training and development requirements.
What do we need from you?
- Extensive experience of working within the highways industry
- Valid current CSCS and SSSTS certification
- Computer literate
- Ability to lead a team
