What will the role look like?

The Project Manager / Principal Facade Engineer must be able to be technically responsible for the detailed design and construction of a small to medium-sized Buildings project. They would typically manage and supervise between 2 and 4 Senior Facade Engineers. All of our engineers are part of our Engineering Enterprise and aligned with our overall strategy to maximise DfMA, Digital Engineering, and Early Engagement.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

A Project Manager / Principal Facade Engineer must be able to be technically responsible for the detailed design and construction of a large Buildings project. They would typically manage and supervise between 2 and 4 Project Facade Engineers.

Technical Capabilities

  • Engineering Methods
  • Workmanship, quality, inspection and testing
  • Permanent works and materials, products, plant and systems (MPPS)
  • Construction methods, practices and innovation
  • Design process
  • Information and change control

What are the ideal professional qualifications needed for this role?

First degree in Engineering Discipline, other construction or design related degree, or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4)

Professionally qualified / chartered by a recognised body

A senior project planner is responsible for developing, managing, monitoring the project programme and controls and is a key member of the team to deliver the scheme.
