Key Responsibilities

Kier are currently looking to recruit a Civils Operatives (Gangs) for our Falcon Cities Projects with our Client Openreach. You will be based out of Falkirk, you will be predominantly site based in carrying out essential services to the Openreach infrastructure. Your role will be to ensure we doing all our civils works to Health and Safety standard and Quality Standard. Ensuring works are completed and delivered to the timelines required of us by our client and delivering the programme.

You will be working into the Openreach Civils Delivery Manager. The ideal candidates will have experience performing excavations, repairs and re-reinstatements, installation of ducting, chambers within the public highway. The position will require hard work and dedication and organisational skills. Responsible for ensuring performance and profitability for all civils projects. Working closely with you Delivery teams deliver projects that meet their requirements. Candidate must have a good awareness of Health & Safety and company policies.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following.

  • Telecoms experience required
  • NRSWA
  • Digger Licence
  • MT003/SA006/K8/OR Craft Accreditations (Duct / Modulars / Blockages / Frame & Covers / Dem & Rebuilds / Carriageway box builds)
  • Towing Licence
  • Clean Valid Driving Licence
  • Aware of all H&S aspects
  • Training can be provided
