Managing Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hybrid working - based in Crawley office 3 days with home working 2 days per week
Business Area: Kier Utilities- UK Power Networks (UKPN)
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Salary: Competitive + company car or car allowance of £6,100 p.a + great benefits
We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services and we are recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Crawley, working on our framework with UKPN.
As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will build a team where trust, integrity, honesty and openness are encouraged and valued and ensure your own team is continuously challenged and developed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Commercial Manage to manage the control of costs, maximise value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety
- Provide transparent, accurate and timely approach to commercial reporting
- Identify and proactively manage commercial process, efficiencies, practices and risk
- Degree qualified (ideally chartered) individual with surveying experience preferable within the utilities industry
- Experience of NEC3 framework and good leadership skills
- Hold a Full Driving Licence
