Location: Hinchingbrooke Treatment Centre, Huntingdon
Business Area: Facilities Management - NHS North West Anglia Trust
Contract: Permanent, full time - 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, rota for start times between 7am and 11am with finishes between 3pm to 8pm
Salary: £9.50 + shift allowance & unsociable hours pay
Our Kier Places teams work in partnership with North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust and are currently looking to recruit a Porter. The successful post-holder will be employed by the Trust and managed by Kier.
Key Responsibilities
As a Porter, we'll trust you to undertake a range of tasks that include transporting patients, equipment & waste between departments and buildings, manipulating & handling a range of mechanical aids, as well as changing medical gas cylinders.
Working collaboratively with your colleagues, you'll be checking patient details when undertaking patient transfers, providing personal care to patients/clients, and handling data securely.
What do we need from you?
The ideal Porter will have previous relevant experience with good customer service & attention to detail skills, and will be comfortable with heavy lifting & movement throughout the day.
