Town Planner Job in Kent

I currently have a Town Planner job available to join a top 10 house builder from their regional office in Kent. My client is open to a Planner or Senior Planner from public or private sectors providing they have worked on residential developments.

This national house builder is looking for a Town Planner to join this growing office in Kent. As the successful Town Planner or Senior Planner, you'll be part of the busy planning team working on a variety of sites handling the management of the planning application process. This busy region currently builds around 650 homes per year.

Role & Responsibilities

- Manage the planning application process
- Support the Planning Director
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure planning applications are prepared properly and in accordance with local authority requirements
- Manage all Section 106 agreements
- Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
- Provide planning reports for each development.

Required Skills & Experience

- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
- Experienced with planning for residential developments
- Ideally 2+ years in Town Planning.
