Head of Land Job in the East Midlands
My client currently has a Head of Land job available for their East Midlands region. They are looking to speak to Senior Land Managers or Head of Land candidates with a strong background in buying land in the East Midlands.
As the successful Senior Land Manager or Head of Land, you'll be tasked with buying land across region which spans from Chesterfield down to Leicester, Derby, Nottingham across to Lincoln. This role can offer a Senior Land Manager the progression into a Head of Land role and progression beyond this too. This busy region currently builds around 550 units per year, with strengthening the land team this will enable them to get to their target of 650+ units.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify land opportunities within the region
- Legal agreement negotiations
- Support the Land Director
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners and land agents
- Negotiate land values
- Provide regular updates and reports on land purchases.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background buying land in the East Midlands
- Relevant degree
- Commercially aware
- Previous experience working for a volume housebuilder.
