We are currently looking for a Gully Vehicle Operative to join our Highways team in Brixworth to be part of an exciting new contract in Northamptonshire working in the North and the West Highway Services Contracts.


Key Responsibilities

We are looking for highly motivated staff to work on the cyclical gully cleansing programme and our reactive service to ensure Highway Drainage Assets are operational. You'll be part of 2-person crew working on fixed shifts and a rota system to participate in out of hours incident response and winter service duties.

What do we need from you?


  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Experience of operating a gully maintenance vehicle
  • Knowledge of the highways drainage system would be an advantage
  • Ability to operate a hand held recording device to capture works information
  • Willingness to get involved in the winter service operations
  • To be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
