This role is within the Kier Property Mixed Use and Regeneration Team, a growing team which includes major high profile Joint Ventures with local authorities in Watford and Leatherhead delivering residential led mixed use (office and retail/leisure and trade counter industrial), an exciting new Joint Venture with Lloyds Bank to deliver homes in key locations across the country and we have a significant Strategic Land portfolio bringing forward a mix of residential homes in Joint Venture with an exemplar Housing Developer.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Regeneration to lead and take responsibility for all aspects of Project Management in the Development process on multiple, complex designated schemes.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting role, you will work with the Senior Development Team to assist in the evaluation and acquisition of complex investment opportunities. You will manage the consultant team in the creation of scheme designs and support the Senior Development Manager through the planning application process. You will also co-ordinate and lead management of preconstruction, construction and post construction technical matters on allocated complex and multiple projects, and lead on commercial and delivery issues on allocated to identify challenges as part of the developments.
What are we looking for?
- A track record in project management of multiple and / or complex construction projects ideally within the world of development though experience in other parts of the property industry may also be applicable.
- Experience would ideally be across a range of market sectors with mixed use, commercial, retail, leisure, industrial and residential being key areas of experience.
- Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is encouraged though is not essential.
- A track record of working with private and public sector clients would be beneficial.
- Demonstration sound commercial awareness
- An ability to work with a range of stakeholders is desired and to create a team working environment which you are able to influence.
