Our client is a consultancy business that provides a complete range of services to the social care sector. They operate nationally and their clients include Care Home Groups, individual Care Homes, Nursing Homes and Domiciliary Care Providers. They provide support with every element of running the operations of a care business including regulatory compliance, business operations, care delivery, marketing and profitability. They have an excellent track record of supporting clients in every area, including taking the lead when dealing with the regulators and Local Authorities.

Demand for these services are increasing as owners and operators come under increasing pressures. As a result of this growth, they are keen to appoint a Business Support Manager who will provide support for the MD and senior managers.

The role:

It is a varied and interesting role responsible for supporting the MD. The role includes managing all general business administration, relationships, sales, marketing, project management and supporting the business to deliver the business plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the MD with all general business, finances and administration, and supplier management
  • Helping with projects and aiding the management team
  • Manage and maintain all administrative processes
  • Helping with research and producing reports
  • Building the company's connections on LinkedIn
  • Maintaining relationships with clients and monitoring levels of satisfaction
  • Developing content and leadership information to raise the company profile
  • Drafting articles and advertorials under the guidance of the MD

What we are looking for:

  • Significant experience of relationship management
  • Strong ability to effectively build and manage relationships with clients
  • Strong project management and administrative skills
  • Practical knowledge of LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and willing to learn more about this as needed
  • Excellent knowledge of research and information products and tools
  • Exceptional communicator in terms of verbal and written presentation skills
  • Excellent writing and research skills
  • Experience as a team player in coordinating and implementing pursuit processes
  • Able to deal with suppliers on behalf of the MD
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint would be advantageous
