We're looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our IT Team based in Rushden. Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Contract: Full time, permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know.

Responsibilities
As an IT Project Manager you will own and be responsible for the full project lifecycle - running multiple concurrent deliveries under the IT PMO frameworks and governance to aligned metrics including time, cost, quality, risk, scope, benefits, SLA's and KPI's.

Your day to day will include:

  • Daily project management of multiple concurrent project deliverables
  • Closely working with IT senior business leads to support the development of the business unit portfolio (aligned to a defined business unit).
  • You will work closely with your IT peers and teams, business unit SME's, Vendors and resource leads to manage successful execution of project deliveries and stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify interdependency related risks and bottlenecks, as well as friction points for and between (delivery) teams and act as an escalation point for project issues.
  • Working to a set of mature PMO frameworks and governance ensuring stability and standardisation across multiple concurrent project deliveries
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve the customer experience/journey and promote service provision improvements.
  • Manage and be accountable for project finances through tight financial planning, analysis and cost tracking.

  • You have project/programme management experience using Prince2 and APM
  • You have a customer centric approach with a collaborative way or working
  • You have the ability to manage budgetary performance and to plan and manage your own workload as well as manage others.
