We're looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team based in Glasgow. Within this role, you can enjoy remote working, flexible hours and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities.

Location: Glasgow, Scotland - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know.


Responsibilities

As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within our regional build team, supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities.

Your day to day will include:

  • Overseeing the commercial resources and project teams on the assigned project

  • Using your commercial expertise and wealth of knowledge you will maximise the cashflow and margin

  • Assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks, implanting Kier Group's policies for risk management.


Who are we looking for?

This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • Experience of both JCT and NEC contracts

  • Previous experience working on education, commercial, leisure, healthcare, MOD and mixed-use projects valued up to £60m.
