Contracts Manager Job Nationwide
I have a Contracts Manager job available with a civil engineering contractor. In this position you will be managing 2 - 3 small groundworks projects and oversee 10 - 15 site-based staff. You'll be required to travel across the UK as future projects could be nationwide. The role won't require staying away for long periods of time.
This contractor design and build splash pads for clients such as local authorities, holiday parks and leisure facilities. As the successful candidate you will have a strong background in groundworks and management of multiple small site-based teams. An understanding or exposure to M&E would be an advantage but not essential.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure quality is adhered to at all times
- Ensure H&S is a priority and correct PPE, equipment and plant are used at all times
- Liaise with the client throughout the project
- inform all parties if there any changes in the scope
- Carry out site meetings with clients and suppliers
- Deliver toolbox talks
- Maintain weekly reports
- Ensure the project is keeping to the programme of works.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experienced in groundworks or small civils
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS
- Full clean UK driving licence.
What you get back
- Up to £60,000
- £5,000 car allowance or company car
- 45p per mileage with the car allowance or fuel with the company car.
