Multi-Skilled Plumber

Location: QE2 Conference Centre, Westminster, London

Business Area: Facilities Management - Public Sector Government contract

Contract: Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Hours: Weekly alternating early & late shifts between 6am and 10pm

Overtime: Mini shifts, late hours, out of hours, and weekends possible

Kier Places are recruiting today for a Multi-Skilled Plumber, where your role will be key to supporting the delivery of a Facilities Management Hard & Technical Services solution for our prestigious client. You will be providing planned & reactive maintenance with a Plumbing bias in Government buildings in our prestigious Westminster portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

As a focused and reactive Multi-Skilled Plumber, you will deliver a combination of planned preventative (PPM), reactive maintenance, and extra works engineering services within government facilities. You will be assisting in ensuring Kier deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient, and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations. This will involve completing quoted works of Plumbing nature - including but not limited to - taps and shower valves, bathroom fixtures, shower trays, pumps and light mechanical works.

What do we need from you?

The successful candidate should be a Qualified Plumber (e.g. Level 2 NVQ/City & Guilds), have some Legionella awareness, be Water Regulations competent, and be able to demonstrate general engineer competence.

It would be a bonus should you also have relevant heating, mechanical or electrical qualifications, are L8 Legionella awareness qualified, have PASMA/IPAF certification, and have a valid Government Security Check (SC) Clearance.
