We're looking for a Civil Operative to join our Telecoms team based in Bristol. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting major projects, progression opportunities, support in obtaining further qualifications, and even more.

Location: Bristol, Gloucestershire

Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: £26k - £32k depending on experience

Responsibilities

As a Civil Operative, you will be working as part of a two person team to undertake excavation, backfill, and reinstatement, in accordance with Kier & our Clients' Standard Operating Procedures.

Your day to day will include:

  • Excavating in the highways and complying with NRSWA Code of Practise 1991 and HSG47
  • Installing new duct work and chambers, Clearing blockages, Road, Rope, and Testing.
  • Ensure that you set the standard in completing and ensuring all necessary Compliance documentation is adhered to; i.e. Safety & Quality - (Self-Audit & POWRA).

  • Excellent Communication skills and customer service focus
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Full Driving Licence.
